Cohesively the matric class of 2019 have achieved a pass rate of 81.3% as published by The Department of Basic Education (DBE).
The Department of Basic Education says that the overall performance of the matric class of November 2019 has improved drastically compared to previous years.
The matric class of 2019 registered an overall pass percentage of 81.3%. Topping the performance of the matric class of 2018 by 3.1%. This was the highest recorded percentage in the last 25 years.
With a 186,058 matriculants achieving a bachelors pass and 144,762 with a diploma pass and 78,984 with a higher certificate pass, it is clear to say we are proud of the matric class of 2019.
