Western Cape Health MEC Nomafrench Mbombo has re-iterated her plea to communities to comply with Covid19 health regulations.
On Monday Mbombo and health officials embarked on an outreach and awareness campaign at Heinz Park, in Mitchell’s Plain.
This was aimed to encourage people to change their behaviour, and help to fight the virus.
She also handed over face masks to residents.
The department’s Covid-19 behavioural change campaign will also be promoted in other areas.
Mbombo spokesperson, Nomawethu Sbukwana says they need people to come on board to help slow the spread of the virus.
