The newlyweds, named Alexey and Valeria Belonosovs had planned to hold their wedding in a restaurant on 4 April with a large number of guests invited. After Russia announced the coronavirus lockdown the big wedding was cancelled but the couple decided to still get married on the scheduled day.
They even dressed their pet cat in a bow tie so it could be their honourable guest. They obviously couldn’t invite a photographer to the wedding, so instead they took their own snaps using a selfie stick.
The couple still hope to have the wedding party as planned after the lockdown is over, and if not, they will at least have a photoshoot in the outfits they had bought initially for their wedding.
