South Africa has recorded 8 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total number of known fatalities to 131.
The Eastern Cape recorded 4 new deaths, and the Western Cape and Gauteng 2 each.
The Western Cape has the highest number of deaths with 58.
It’s followed by Kwa Zulu Natal with 34. The country has seen 6, 783 cases.
The number of cases recorded in the Western Cape stand at 3,044, Gauteng has 1,624 cases.
KwaZulu-Natal has reported 1,076 cases.
