South Africa has recorded 37 more Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total national death toll to 792.
The Western Cape recorded 29, the Eastern Cape with 7 and KwaZulu Natal with 1.
Currently there’re 37,525 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country, and 19,682 recoveries.
This illustrate to 17,051 active cases in South Africa.
The National Department of Health says the Western Cape and the Eastern Cape make up 78% of all positive cases in the country.
The department confirmed that additional attention and resources are now being directed to the Eastern Cape.
