The provision of humanitarian relief to assist people affected by the recent storm is continuing in the Western Cape.

The cold front in the Cape has wreaked havoc especially in informal settlements.

Gift of the Givers continue to assist those affected by the recent extreme weather conditions.

The N-G-O has distributed hot meals, blankets, masks, and baby care packs in more than 20 areas across the province.

Project manager, Ali Sablay, is asking for more contributions.

“We are looking at distributing more than 12,000 blankets as the need is huge. There are close to 5,500 structures that are flooded, so we are appealing to those who can contribute blankets to kindly contact us as we will gladly distribute them to these areas”.
