The number of coronavirus cases in South Africa, has increased by 352 to 7,572.

That’s according to a media statement issued by the Department of Health, on Tuesday.

The Western Cape remains the province with highest cases, with 3,069.

It’s followed by Gauteng with 1,697 cases.

Health Minister, Dr Zweli Mkhize confirmed that the country recorded additional ten more deaths, bringing the toll to 148.

The Western Cape registered seven deaths, the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng recorded one each.

More than 260 000 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in South Africa, with more than 10,500 of those tests done in just the past 24 hours.
