The Constitutional Court has in a majority decision found former president Jacob Zuma guilty of contempt of court.
The state capture commission asked the court for the decision after Zuma ignored a court order for him to appear before the commission.
Justice Sisi Khampepe handed down judgement this morning, saying that never before has the has the authority and the legitimacy of the Constitutional Court has come under the level of attack as it has from Zuma.
Khampepe says there is no doubt that the former President is in contempt of court.
The court has sentenced him to 15 months imprisonment.
Zuma has been given until Sunday to hand himself over. Taking to twitter today, his daughter Duduzile Zuma says her father was given the option of Joburg SAPS or Nkandla. She says her father has chosen to hand himself into the Nkandla police station.
