The last time Tamara Dey released music was in 2020 when she worked with Mobi Dixon on her single “Lock Me Up” and now, in 2022, she is back with a new track, “Disco Therapy”.

Tamara released “Lock Me Up” in the middle of lockdown and thereafter independently signed to a record label called known as, ‘The David Gresham Record Company’ where she’s currently crafting a new sound.

Dey is also recognised as one of Mzansi’s fashion icons. She began shining bright in the early 2000s along with Kwaito stars TKZee, Trompies, Mdu Masilela and Malaika.

She had rhythm and could hold down any dancefloor from a tavern to a nightclub or parliament opening, and even a wedding.

In August 2020, the singer found herself in and out of hospital and having to undergo surgery. Since then Day has made a full recovery and feels blessed to be back on her feet and on stage. It was an honour hosting the powerhouse live in HeartFMs studio today accompanying the Bow Wow of radio, Lunga Singama.
