South Africa has recorded 12-thousand-267 new coronavirus cases since the last report. This brings the cumulative number of cases identified to over 1.3 million.
A further 254 Covid-19 related deaths have been reported with 72 in the Western Cape, Gauteng 59, KwaZulu-Natal 40, Eastern Cape 22, North West 26, Mpumalanga 16, Free State 13 and six in the Northern Cape.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths recorded in the country now stands at 37-thousand-105.
The Western Cape has 36 130 active Covid-19 infections with a total of 250 200 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 205 124 recoveries.
