42-year-old Mitchells Plain activist, Raafiqah Ganger, was recently reunited with her biological family after being adopted as a child. She’s overcome abuse and homelessness, but says it moulded her into the strong person she was for the moment she reunited with her birth family after a nearly decade-long search.
