Daniel Williams (under the alias, LordKeyyZ) is a multi-instrumentalist, music producer, sound engineering student and live performance arrangement fundi based in Cape Town. He always brings his A-game “from Studio to Stage ”
He started his musical career at the age of five years old, where he received his grassroots training on the piano under the mentorship of his late grandmother, Kathleen Le Roux. His mother had also been a part of a church choir, of which she had directed for a few years. This love for music was carried through to his high school years where he joined the existing jazz band and also formed his own collective.
With a catalogue packed with massive collaborations with artists such as Elaine, Lordkez, Hunter Rose, Ginger Trill and Namakau Star (formerly Indiirhe). His various studio productions and stage appearances such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival, along with television appearances from Trace Africa to Expresso Morning show, makes it clear that LordKeyyZ is in this for the long run!
From an already impressive discography to his IGTV “Self Jams” and live performances, KeyyZ shows no sign of slowing down and has recently joined with a management company called Machent Management.
