The Electoral Commission says the registration weekend went well, with no major disruptions in the Western Cape.
More than 1,500 voting stations had been operating across the province this past weekend.
The Commission had recruited and trained more than 3 200 registration staff for the drive.
The IEC says people can still register online today, but the deadline is at 00h00.
Provincial Electoral Officer, Michael Hendrickse, says they managed to resolve minor issues immediately.
