About the author: Adelina Mbinjama-Gamatham is a Lecturer in the Department of Media Studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Cape Town, South Africa. Her teaching and research interests are in social media-communications, cyber-ethics, black feminism and representation of women in the media. She holds a doctoral degree in Media Studies.
