  1. Irma Stern Museum 

If you enjoy artworks based off of German Expressionism and Post – Impressionism then this is the place for you.

Weekdays: 10am – 5pm

Weekends: 10am – 2pm (Saturday)

    2. District Six Museum 

The District Six Museum is based in 25A Buitenkant Str, Cape Town, 8000. If you are someone that enjoys history and wants to learn a bit more about what District Six is all about then this is the place to go. They offer guided site walks by former residence of the area.

3. The Heart of Cape Town Museum 

The Heart of Cape Town Museum is based in Groote Schuur Hospital, Main Road, Observatory, Cape Town, 7925. This place pays tribute to everyone who contributed significantly to the surgical achievement that pushed the frontiers of science, and ushered in a new era of medicine. A fascinating glimpse at the first successful heart transplant is provided at this museum.

Guided Tours Weekdays: 9am, 11am & 1pm

     4. Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa 

Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa is based in V&A Waterfront Silo District, S Arm Rd, Waterfront, Cape Town, 8001. The museum is known as the largest of its kind in Africa and it is also the first Major museum that focuses on Contemporary African Art. It features over a 100 galleries with 9 storeys of project spaces and exhibitions dedicated to contemporary and modern African art. This museum offers a variety of art mediums which includes sculptures, paintings, illustrations, fashion, photography and design.
