Do women still ask men out, and is it weird for a woman to propose to a man?

For some reason, our society still have a tough time embracing the idea of a marriage proposal initiated by a woman. When talking about women who have boldly gone to where not so many have dared to go and proposed to their partners instead of waiting for them to pop the question.
Although the idea of a woman proposing to a man is slowly gaining acceptance, it is still considered the norm for the man to initiate a marriage proposal.

Would you mind if a woman asked you out on a date? You might even think it’s sexy. But what about if a woman asked you to marry her? For some reason, society has had a tougher time opening up to the female-initiated marriage proposal. But for what reason though?

There is no legal, ethical or religious-based reason why women can’t propose in this day and time. It’s just always been like that for some reason. Perhaps, because in the past women didn’t always have a say in who they married, why would we want to continue celebrating this unfortunate fact with some outdated tradition anyway?

We’re currently experiencing a break in tradition. More and more women are proposing to their husbands these days, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

The point is, there’s no reason why women can’t propose to men, do what makes you happy!
