Telkom is cutting the prices of its DSL products to as low as R199 a month. The company says the move is in response to the increased demand for home connectivity during lockdown. It is also giving existing DSL customers uncapped data. “Telkom will be mapping existing customers on capped DSL services to Unlimited Home services to offer them better value,” it says.
The company’s Unlimited Home Lite packages are:
- 4 Mbps UnlimitedHome Lite: R199p/m for the first 6 months thereafter R329p/m.
- 10 Mbps UnlimitedHome Lite: R299p/m for the first 6 months thereafter R599p/m.
- 20 Mbps UnlimitedHome Lite: R399 p/m for the first 6 months thereafter R699p/m.
- 40 Mbps UnlimitedHome Lite: R499p/m for the first 6 months thereafter R899p/m.
Telkom’s new prices are for a promotional period of six months. However, prices after the promotion ends are still lower than its existing offers.
