The holidays have come to an end, sadly. Mom and Dad need to start thinking about prepping for those lunchbox days that are both healthy and scrummy. We actually want our kids to eat the lunches we packed in. No plain cheese or peanut butter sandwiches. We are spicing things up with stunningly healthy lunches that will have your taste buds in awe.
Chicken salad wraps
With leftover chicken or meat from last night, make a chicken salad wrap. Lettuce, tomato and a sauce of your little one’s choice. A fun replacement for bread.
Blueberry and banana muffins
These muffins are oozing with antioxidants which makes them perfect for a midday snack. These be bought at your local bakery or supermarket if you’re feeling a little under the weather about baking.
Sweet potato crisps
Everyone’s favourite veggie snack: crispy sweet potato slices roasted in olive oil. They’re a great lunchbox filler and the best part is it is vegan.
Fruit Sundae
Add a bit of sweetness to the lunchbox by mashing some strawberries, topped with berries in their yoghurt.
Cheese and fruit sticks
Quick and easy to make. Chop your fruit and cheese into bite sized pieces and then start stationing them.
Healthy? Scrummy? Easy? I think we have ticked all the boxes with this one. Make lunch count this 2020.
