Consumers have been splashing out ahead of Easter as people prepare for weekend celebrations amid eased lockdown restrictions, research suggests.

Easter egg sales have climbed R100 million in the UK according to Kantar, soaring almost 50% more when compared with last year. Meanwhile shoppers have already spent almost R800 million on hot cross buns.

AND AFTER EATING ALL THOSE EASTER EGGS GENTS, THIS IS GOOD NEWS….

According to a new survey, women prefer chubby men with “dad bods”, rather than men who are “gym gods.” Nearly four in five men and women believe that a dad bod is a sign that the man is confident in himself.

More people found the dad bod “sexy” (61 per cent over 51 per cent last year), and an additional 10 per cent think that the dad bod is the new six-pack.
