Ever wondered what’s inside that mug of yours? Curious about how your favourite barista makes your drink with the right consistency and blend to smooth your taste buds. Find out here how to make your drink simply the best!

Americano

The classic Americano consists of just water and espresso. The ratio of these ingredients is typically either 1/2 and 1/2 or 1/3 espresso (1-2 shots) and 2/3 water.

Caffé Latte

An espresso drink with foam? We call this one the Café Latte. All you need is 1 espresso shot and two shots of foam milk. Using a spoon to retain the microbubbles on top of the steamed milk, pour the bottom 2/3 of the steamed milk from the steaming pitcher into the latte cup. Top the latte with the remaining bubbles. (You can spoon them onto your drink if desired.)

Mochaccino

Also known as a Caffè Mocha. Consisting of espresso, hot steamed milk and hot chocolate, all topped with a silky textured froth.

Cappuccino

Cappucinos are an Italian coffee drink, traditionally prepared with double espresso, hot milk, and steamed milk foam on top. All that is needed is one double shot of espresso and 4 ounces of milk. The frosted milk creates bubbles that are unseen, but make the milk lighter and thicker.

Flat white

Two shots of espresso and microfoamed milk is used to create a velvety texture with no foam topper. Having the milk run straight through the coffee, giving it its name. The flat white has also been labeled as the “wet cappuccino”.

Espresso shot

Espresso shots are made by forcing pressurized, hot water through very finely ground coffee beans. Full-flavored, concentrated form of coffee is then served in shots.
