The Edgemead Market
Running from 1-22 December 2020, this is one of Cape Town’s most anticipated Christmas Markets, with more than 200 of the Cape’s finest crafters from as far as George, Montagu and Riversdale coming to display their products.
Organisers have extended the duration of the market as a COVID-19 precaution to reduce the number of the people in the venue at any one point in time.
To avoid crowds, the best time to visit and do your shopping is late afternoons from Monday to Friday. This is a great way to “Support Local” and help small businesses make it through this very difficult year!

Another fab Christmas market just opened its doors! The annual Stellenbosch Christmas Market (@stellenbosch_kersmark) runs from 25 November – 5 December this year and will feature top quality art & handwork from around 180 #capecreatives.

Cosy, vibey market at the Blue Bird Garage Market in Muizenberg. Delicious food options such as steaks, burgers, vegan foods and homemade baked goods, great craft beer options and local wines sold at the bar and a selection of craft and clothing to one side. Popular with locals, and goes on quite late.
