Dawie Roodt (Executive Director) is one of South Africa’s most respected economists. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics (cum laude) and specialises in fiscal and monetary policy. Dawie has been the Chief Economist of Efficient Group Limited since 2002. Before that he has also acted as the Group MD. He brings invaluable exposure to the Group through his active presence in both the local and foreign media and was awarded the prestigious “Economist of the Year” award in 2016, by Sake24. Dawie is also a Director of Efficient Group.
