Cape Town police are investigating Wednesday ‘s attack on a luxury car dealership in Milnerton.
It’s been reported that two taxis, filled with dozens of men, arrived at the premises and demanded 2 cars.
They then smashed around 8 of the store’s exotic vehicles, including several Porches and an Aston Martin.
The suspects then assaulted staff members and robbed them of their belongings.
The total value of the damage is unknown at this stage.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana says they’re searching for at least 40 suspects.
She also said they’re treating the business robbery and malicious damage case, as possibly linked to gang extortion.
