This morning we chat to Jessica Uys from Saudi Arabia, a midwife, working in Jeddah. She’s been working in Saudi since 2009, its become her home away from home.

Things are alot different now in Saudi, females are able to drive and also carry their own passports. Things are really moving along with the times, but Coronavirus has really put a stop on many things for the tourism in this country, Jessica explains.

The medical industry is quite stressful, fearful of catching Covid-19, but the calling gets one through to be able to keep doing what they are called to do.

Jessica tries her best to go back to Cape Town every 6 months, so she never misses anything on Heart FM! She really misses biltong and Jacobs Coffee, and of course her South African spices!
