
Currently the automotive manufacturers can open in Level 4, but dealerships can only open in Level 3. The automotive industry submitted their submission to Government two days ago, Government is reviewed it yesterday and it is due to come out today. According to the automotive industry the impact of this is far reaching and many people are going to want and need to sell their cars, whether it’s selling their second car or downgrading their cars. Cars are going to be made but they won’t be able to be sold – The industry also points out that dealerships can control the Covid risk much better than any typical retail store.
