Today, Irma G asked listeners what they always dreamt of being when they grow up, and whether they are currently living that dream. So many listeners shared their stories with us, from wanting to be a lawyer to being a nurse and loving every minute of it. Another listener shared that he wanted to be an accountant, but unfortunately he didn’t have the money to pay for his fees. He then ventured into the trucking business and found his love for driving and nature, he is currently a truck driver and continuously saves his money for future plans.

The bottom line is that if you didn’t live out your childhood dream of becoming a medical doctor or a pilot, and instead became a marine biologist or a crane controller, it doesn’t matter as long as you absolutely LOVE what you do, own it and be proud of  yourself.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. – Steve Jobs
