Norman Henshilwood High School’s Apollo24 robotics team recently made headlines by clinching third place at the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) South African National Championship, hosted at Amazon Headquarters in Observatory, Cape Town.
Competing against top teams from South Africa and eSwatini, this rookie team distinguished themselves by winning the prestigious Design Award for outstanding engineering innovation.
Apollo24 is gearing up for further success at upcoming competitions, including the Sakhikamva Invitational and the globally competitive South African Open Invitational.
