We’re joined on the line by spokesperson for The Cape Home Educators, Anelle Burger, who also has experience in home schooling her kids.
Anelle started home education 5 years ago when her husband accepted a job opportunity in Qatar. She says it would have taken between 3 and 6 months for their son to be placed in a school and being faced with the choice of either having an extended holiday or home educating him, they chose to home educate.
“I was a reluctant home education parent, until I saw and experienced the benefits of home education. Now I am convinced that this is the best option for us.”
