Hangberg Walking Tours – situated on the Mountain slopes between Hout Bay Harbour and The Sentinel peak, Hangberg was historically the township designated for people categorised as Coloured during the apartheid-era. In 2010 this community came into the spotlight after a massive uprising opposing the city’s removal of houses it declared illegal. What many wouldn’t know is the specular views residents from this community get soak up, by simply walking out there front door. A hidden treasure some might say and someone who wants more to experience Hangeberg joins us to tell us about the recently launch walking tours.
