A weather warning has been issued for the Western Cape ahead of a cold front that is expected to reach the western parts of the province by tonight.

The Weather Service says rainfall will spread along the south coast tomorrow.

A northwesterly wind of up to 60 kilometres per hour is forecast before the arrival of the storm and will pick up over the interior tomorrow.

The service warns that the wind and falling trees may influence transport routes and that sea conditions will be choppy.
