Ex naval office Zirk Botha completed his solo mission on the ocean through SA to Brazil! WOW what an incredible achievement, and one that he can most certainly be proud of! Zirk spent 70 days in his boat ‘Ratel’, from South Africa to Brazil covering over 7200km.

He left Cape Town on the 19th of December 2020. This adventurist is the first person to row a south transatlantic route unsupported by any safety crafts alongside him.

As soon as he touched down in Brazil, all Zirk wanted was a burger, chips and a cooldrink!

We #salute you Zirk!
