He’s a self-confessed sport nut, with a soft spot for family, gaming, and great music!
On-air he’s a DJ, off air, he’s an all-around great guy, who loves music and sport almost as much as he loves presenting. If he’s not watching the Stormers play live at the stadium, he’ll be kicking back and watching Manchester United in front of the TV.
JP’s known for his sweet tooth, with a penchant for crafting desserts, with his family acting as his test kitchen!
He unplugs by jamming Playstation, to escape debit orders, traffic jams, and the other “serious” stuff that can get in the way of playing for Team Gryffindor.
JP credits his mum for his broad taste in music, thanks to hours spent with her listening to the radio and cassettes as a kid, and enjoying groups like the Temptations, and Peaches & Herb. That said, you’ll find him jamming to Jazz, Hip Hop, Rn’B, and well, almost any genre – so long as it’s not Boeremusiek, Classical, or Country!
