Police are processing 95 Libyans, arrested as part of a sting operation in White River, Mpumalanga on Friday morning.

It’s believed the group had been operating an illegal secret military camp.

They’re also suspected of being part of a series of crimes, including rape, that have taken place in the area recently.

Police say the operation comes after days of intelligence work, following a complaint of covert operations on a farm.

Mpumalanga’s Community Safety MEC, Jackie Macie, says it’s still unclear exactly what these men had been training for.
