Two Western Cape learners have made the province proud with impressive wins at the Annual South African Spelling Bee!
Rhyle Adams, a student from Klein Nederburg Secondary School, took home the title of Senior Champion.
While Ifeoma Osondo from Milnerton High School claimed the second runner-up position in the Junior Category.
The competition, organized by A Better Africa Foundation, brought together top young spellers from across the country.
Adams will now go on to represent the country at the 7th African Spelling Bee Finals in Abuja, Nigeria, next month.
A Better Africa Foundation’s Roger Dickinson, says this year’s competition has been the most competitive one to date.
