Organised labour is unhappy over the Kwa Zulu Natal police commissioner’s comments about the unions.
While addressing an event in Durban this week, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi blamed unions for the rising unemployment rate, because they demand high salaries for workers.
This didn’t sit well with many trade federations.
Cosatu’s Edwin Mkhize says Mkhwanazi’s comments are concerning.
Meanwhile, Fedusa’s Riefdah Ajam, says blaming unions only misleads the public.
