The once quiet suburb of Eerste River, is seeing an escalation in violent crimes.
Police have confirmed that two men have been murdered in the area.
Police say officers were dispatched to Gambia Street, Forest Village, in the early hours of yesterday morning … where they found the men with gunshot wounds to their bodies.
No arrests have been made.
Last month, CCTV footage went viral of a man chasing and firing several shots at three others – fatally wounding one of them.
On Heritage Day, a 5-year-old boy and a 49-year-old woman were shot and killed while sitting in a park.
