The National Prosecuting Authority says it needs to verify whether a man — who is implicated in a mass shooting in Tulbagh — is in the country legally.
Makubulelwa Dada appeared in the Tulbagh Magistrates Court on Thursday, and the matter has been postponed until Monday.
He’s charged with premeditated murder and for being in the country illegally.
Dada was arrested On Tuesday – following Saturday’s attack, in which four people were killed and a fifth person wounded.
The National Prosecuting Authority says the accused is also going to be charged with the illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
