Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States yesterday.

This marks the start of his second term.

This time, as a convicted felon.

His agenda closely aligns with the promises he made during his campaign.

Trump has declared January 20th as Liberation Day in America.

Speaking from inside the U.S. Capitol Rotunda due to cold temperatures, he proclaimed that America is now in its Golden Age.

On his first day in office, Trump signed a series of executive orders aimed at fulfilling his campaign promises.

These include pardoning January 6 defendants, cracking down on undocumented immigration by declaring a national emergency at the southern border, and increasing domestic oil drilling.

He also announced plans to impose tariffs, roll back federal electric vehicle goals, and emphasized his stance that there are only two genders assigned at birth.

Trump signed an executive order on birthright citizenship that seeks to end automatic citizenship for children born to undocumented immigrants in the US.

He’s vowed to restore free speech in America, pledging an end to censorship, and assured that these changes would happen swiftly.

But what this free speech means, remains to be seen.

Critics are concerned that this may open the flood gates to hate speech and hate crimes against minorities.
