
There’s been yet another multiple murder in a Cape Town informal settlement.
Diep River detectives are investigating a triple murder in an informal settlement in Southfield.
Police were called out to the scene on Wednesday evening, where they found the three victims lying face down on the ground.
The victims, aged between 42 and 47, had all been shot in the head.
This is the third mass killing in an informal settlement in Cape Town this month.
According to the police’s Novela Potelwa, the suspects fled the scene on foot and are yet to be arrested.
“The victims were allegedly shot, execution style, by a group of armed men, who pulled up on the corner of De Waal Road and M5 freeway at 22:00. Anyone with information that could assist the police investigation, is urged to contact the police on 08600 10111.
