The City of Cape Town has commended the SA Police Service for its breakthrough in the shooting case at a clinic in Mitchells Plain.

A 23-year-old man was gunned down in broad daylight inside the Eastridge Day Hospital this week.

Police have confirmed that they’ve arrested a 20-year-old suspect, and he’ll appear in court soon.

The City’s head of Safety and Security JP Smith says it does appear as if the incident was gang-related.
