Maintenance is well underway at the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway.
It’s the Cableway company’s second biggest shutdown since the 1997.
That’s when the cableway was upgraded.
Now, repairs are being done to the track ropes.
While the cable car is out of commission until September, the Cableway Company’s Selma Hercules says the rest of the mountain is still accessible.
