The three men allegedly caught transporting cocaine worth an estimated R400 million have appeared in court.
Ebrahim Kara, Meshack Ngobese and Elias Radebe appeared in the Athlone Magistrates Court on Monday.
Their case has been postponed until 15 August 2022.
The trio was nabbed by the Hawks along the N1 highway near Klapmuts last week.
It’s one of the biggest drug hauls in the country’s history, and it was on its way to Cape Town.
According to the Hawk’s spokesperson, Zinzi Hani, the arrest was a collaborative effort by the Hawks and other law enforcement.
