The CPUT students who were forced to sleep outside the institution’s premises, have received accommodation.
On Monday, more than 100 students, slept on the concrete outside the Bellville Campus.
That’s because the residences were full.
Yesterday, the group approached the CPUT’s housing department, in a bid to get assistance.
HeartFM News, spoke to some students who were left stranded.
They all wanted to remain anonymous.
This student says he’s relieved that he has a permanent residence….
This learner has also received a permanent accommodation.
But he’s worried that this is a perennial issue …
