Social Development Minister Sisisi Tolashe has apologised to grant beneficiaries, for the upheaval they’re receiving in the card swapping process.

Tolashe visited Eersteriver Shoprite this morning…to assess the project.

As expected, queues are snaking outside the retailer.

The elderly and those living with disabilities have braved the heat to stand in line.

They are here to replace the old SASSA cards with the new Post Bank Black Cards.

Meanwhile, Tolashe says she’s appalled by the situation…

The Minister says she will engage with her colleague, the Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies to help.

Post Bank is the implementing agency for this project.
