The Special Investigating Unit wants anyone with information of alleged tender corruption at the City of Cape Town, to come forward.
The call comes as the ANC in the Metro, plans to request President Cyril Ramaphosa to issue a proclamation, for the SIU to probe.
The opposition party wants the investigation to focus on the Human Settlements and Urban Waste Management Directorates.
Former human settlements political head, Malusi Booi is implicated in a billion Rand tender fraud that involves alleged 28s gang leader, Ralph Stanfield.
That case is currently before the courts.
Additionally, a probe is underway into tender collusion involving two senior managers in the Urban Waste Management portfolio.
The SIU’s Kaizer Kganyago says those who have evidence must approach the unit……
Meanwhile the ANC says it has drafted a letter that will be sent to the President soon.
