Suspended deputy police commissioner, Shadrack Sibiya, denies links to alleged underworld figures, Cat Matlala and Brown Mogotsi.
Sibiya presented his evidence, before Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee yesterday.
In January, WhatsApp conversations between Matlala and Mogotsi, talked about the disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team.
Testimony before this committee, indicates that Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu, had sent a letter to police management, about this matter, a month earlier.
Whatsapp evidence suggests that Mogotsi knew about this, and arranged a meeting between Mchunu and Sibiya.
But Sibiya says there was no meeting.
