There have still been no arrests, as police search for those responsible for the murder of yet another Cape Town police officer.
The 39-year-old off-duty officer was gunned down in Samora Machel on Thursday.
A week ago – two police officers were shot and wounded – in Khayelitsha.
Western Cape Police Oversight MEC, Reagen Allen, says the perpetrators – must be brought to book.
“It’s unacceptable that our SAPS officers are attacked and killed in this manner. These men and women in blue – who work under extremely difficult circumstances – make huge sacrifices to protect us. I urge anyone with information to contact SAPS and to make it available so that these perpetrators can be convicted.”
