South African trade unions have also reacted to the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, by the United States of America.
Maduro and his wife have been detained in New York.
He’s expected to face a string of charges, including drug trafficking and working with gangs designated as terrorist organisations.
The South African Federation of Trade Unions’ Zwelinzima Vavi is outraged.
Meanwhile, the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa’s, Phakamile Hlubi-Majola has lashed out at Venezuelans who rallied behind this action.
