President Cyril Ramaphosa is not worried about the absence of some world leaders at G20-related meetings in South Africa.
US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, opted to snub yesterday’s G20 Foreign ministers meeting in Johannesburg.
And now, America’s Secretary of Treasury, Scott Bessent, has indicated that he won’t be attending next week’s G20 finance ministers’ meeting.
He says this is due to his commitments in Washington.
It was speculated that his decision to skip the meeting – is due to the tensions between South Africa and the US.
