The Hawks have seized cocaine worth more than R400 million.

Three men were arrested when officers swooped on a truck traveling on the N1 highway towards Cape Town on Thursday.

The Hawks got a tip-off about the consignment of drugs and organised an operation on the N1 at a petrol station near Klapmuts — where the suspects were nabbed.

The Hawks’ Western Cape spokesperson, Zinzi Hani, says the suspects will appear in court on Monday.

Meanwhile, three people nabbed in two unrelated drug busts near Sedgefield earlier this week, are set to make their court appearance on Friday.

Ibrahim Job was arrested outside the Garden Route town on Tuesday, after police found him in possession of dagga worth an estimated R180 000.

Two other suspects were apprehended the following day, and are accused of stealing medication worth more than R3700 from a pharmacy.

They’ll appear on a charge of being in possession of stolen property.
